Finland Mordançage

I spent the month of March doing the Silence Awareness Existence residency at Arteles Creative Center in Finland. I photographed the winter landscape and have been working in the darkroom this past month to make Mordançage prints of the images. Here is some of my progress so far (including side trips to Iceland and Estonia!).

Over the past couple months, I have been experimenting with the Mordançage process. Here are some of my first tests. More work to come in 2018 with an upcoming trip to Finland!
