A few weeks ago, I found this amazing body of work by Russian photographer Sergei Mikhailovich Prokudin-Gorskii, who took colour photographs of Russia around 1909-1912. How is that done? Have a look at the link:

I, for one, would like to see progress reports and samples of your experiments in this colour photography process. I loved the quality of the colour in those Russian shots and it would be wonderful if you could achieve the same effect yourself. Choose similar subjects, too! Just for the heck of it!
