Dubious Cosmology is a proposition that the world is overflowing with mystery. It is a series of photographs and sculptures that celebrate the uncanny and the sublime. It is a collection of bizarre renditions of other universes. It is an exploration of fringe beliefs and why they are important. It is an inquiry into photography, the land and sky, UFOs and science fiction. It is a quest to show that there is a relationship between landscape and mystery, and why that relationship is of value to us. If we look at our surroundings – our landscapes – closely, it becomes undeniable that everything is extraordinary, inexplicable, wonderful, and that there is so much more to be uncovered.
